McGuinty Government Investing in Bridges And Highways TORONTO, Sept. 5 /CNW/ - NEWS Ontario will repair 5.1 kilometres of the QEW from Mississauga Road to west of Erin Mills Parkway this fall. The construction project will repave all of the driving lanes and shoulders on this section of the highway. Some of the existing pavement will be recycled and used in future roadway construction projects. The $2.98-million construction contract was awarded to Gazzola Paving Limited of Toronto. The project will see night time lane closures only, with limited delays for day time commuters and is expected to be complete in October, 2008.
