McGuinty Government Improves Transportation Infrastructure In Pickering TORONTO, Oct. 30 /CNW/ - NEWS Ontario will replace the West Duffins Creek Bridge on Highway 7 to enhance road safety for the more than 11,000 drivers who use the bridge each day. This bridge replacement is part of Ontario's commitment to keep bridges safe across the province. The $3.3-million construction contract was awarded to Dufferin Construction Company of Oakville. Work is expected to start in April 2009 and be complete by November 2009. During construction, traffic will be reduced to a single lane controlled by temporary traffic signals.
